Overview

Premium Alphonso mango puree from Maharashtra's Konkan belt

TropiPuree Naturals is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of aseptic Alphonso mango pulp and puree in India, sourcing from the Konkan region of Maharashtra, primarily Ratnagiri and Devgad, the most recognised Alphonso-growing belt. Alphonso mangoes are globally recognised as the King of Mangoes.

Alphonso from this region is preferred for its rich golden-yellow colour, smooth buttery texture, natural sweetness, and distinct aroma that sets it apart from other mango varieties.

This high Brix also explains why Alphonso is priced on the higher side than Totapuri or Kesar in formulation. Lower acidity gives Alphonso a smoother, less tart flavour compared to Totapuri, making it the preferred pulp for products where sweetness matters more than tang, such as ice creams, premium RTD beverages, and dessert sauces. At the same time, Totapuri remains the workhorse choice for high-acid, cost-driven blending. We export to 50+ countries and hold FSSAI, APEDA, FSSC 22000, Halal, Kosher, SEDEX, USDA Organic, and India Organic certifications.

Manufacturing Process

Controlled Alphonso mango pulp processing

From Ratnagiri and Devgad Alphonso mangoes to aseptic packing, each step is structured to protect aroma, sweetness, colour and product consistency.

Fully ripened Alphonso mangoes are sourced from certified farms in Ratnagiri and Devgad and inspected for ripeness, colour and damage. The fruits are carefully sorted on conveyors and sent for washing. Washed fruits are passed through a destoner to separate seeds and peels, and the extracted pulp is refined through a finisher to remove coarse particles, producing the smooth texture Alphonso is known for.

FAQ

Buying Alphonso mango puree - answered

How does Alphonso compare to Totapuri or Kesar for my formulation?

Alphonso has a higher Brix and lower acidity than Totapuri, giving it a smoother, sweeter profile suited to ice creams, premium RTD beverages, and dessert applications. Totapuri has more tang and is preferred for juice blends and nectars. Kesar sits between the two with a saffron-like aroma. If your product depends on rich sweetness rather than acidity, Alphonso is the stronger fit.

Can Alphonso and Totapuri pulp be blended, and does TropiPuree support that?

Yes. Blending Alphonso with Totapuri is common among beverage manufacturers looking to balance Alphonso's sweetness and cost against Totapuri's acidity and lower price point. We can supply both varieties to the same buyer, with matching batch documentation, to support blended formulations.

Does Alphonso mango pulp maintain consistent Brix and flavor across batches given its seasonality?

Yes. Every batch is tested for Brix, pH, and acidity before processing, and only fruit meeting our minimum Brix threshold is accepted. Aseptic processing locks in that quality at the point of packing, so a drum sourced in May carries the same specification as one sourced later in the season, with a 24-month shelf life to support year-round supply planning.

Is this product clean-label, with no added sugar, preservatives, or colourants?

Yes. It is 100% Alphonso mango with no added sugar, no preservatives, and no artificial colour or flavour. Shelf life is achieved through aseptic processing alone. Full spec sheet, allergen declaration, and nutritional profile are available on request.

Which markets and certifications does this product qualify for?

Our Alphonso Mango Puree holds FSSAI, APEDA, FSSC 22000, Halal, Kosher, SEDEX, USDA Organic, and India Organic certifications, cleared for export to 50+ countries including the EU, USA, UK, and GCC. Per-shipment documents including COO, Phytosanitary, and Health Certificate are provided as standard.
